We hosted our Trial Field Day on Monday September 15, 2014!
Edmund started with a short presentation about the project, followed by walking into the fields to look at the 120+ cucumber, melon and winter squash seedstocks entered in the trial.
Edmund and the group discussed the merits of the standouts in terms of Downy Mildew resistance, productivity, eating quality and marketability.
Everyone had a chance to taste some of the standout varieties as well as some of the not-so-great varieties.
